Fruit and Yogurt Parfait

Ingredients:


2 kinds of fruit( strawberries/blueberries)(peaches/banana)
2 cups plain or vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup Granola

 


Layer the fruit,yogurt, and granola in a decorative glass or if it is for work put it in a jelly jar and enjoy it on your lunch hour.

Strawberry Pancakes


Ingredients:


1 1/2 flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
1 large egg
4 fresh strawberries finely chopped


Mix all ingredients together except the strawberries just until it comes together but do not whip it. Fold in the berries and drop onto hot oiled skillet. Flip when edges look dry.

New Twist on Hash Browns!


Take one good sized white potato wash and do not peel. Then slice it into 1/8 inch slices and set aside. Heat vegetable oil in a sauce pot you only need 2 inches worth and get it ready for deep frying. Dip the potato slice into beat eggs and then breadcrumbs or corn flakes and let fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side and drain on a paper towel. The length of time will vary based on how thick your slices are.
These will become your new favorite breakfast food as they have mine! Enjoy!
